9/26 DC Loop Run

Mileage: 7.56
Time: 1:05:04
Outside Temperature: 88 degrees
Shoes: Mizuno Wave Nirvana

It was warmer than it has been lately, but I figured I'd go long since I won't be able to run for the next two days. It took me a while to warm up, but once I reached the TJ memorial it was a nice easy run. I'm especially happy that I got the miles in without any pain, as my left knee has been giving me a little trouble. Overall, it was a great run and I highly recommend the route (just click on the link below) to anyone who loves running down on the Mall and along the Potomac!

Keep it goin' strong,

Welcome to The DC Runner!

Hi everybody, thanks for visiting The DC Runner! This is my first time doing this whole blogging thing, but I figured it would be a good way to not only keep track of my personal running history, but to hopefully correspond with other runners in the DC area. I know there are a lot of interactive running websites these days, but I figured, 'Why not me?' 'Why can't I have a running blog of my own?'

Starting now, you'll be able to come to The DC Runner on a daily basis and read about my exhilerating run from the previous day! Hahaha, just kidding. While you will in fact be able to read about my previous day's run, I'd rather have this be a place where we can all talk about our love of running. So please, keep reading, keep commenting, and keep runnin' strong!
